27 of July our liveaboard EMPRESS departed from Medana Bay Marina – Lombok. The group of divers from Hong Kong did their first check dive in Gili Islands and headed to Madang Island, Satonda and Moyo to finally reach Komodo National Park on the day 4 – on the way they will enjoy fantastic landscapes, dives along Sumbawa island and thousands of stars above! After couple of weeks of renovation our liveaboard EMPRESS is ready for cruises. We have prepared the new 2-floor sundeck (1 shaded, 2 – non-shaded with a big sun bed), a new storage for cameras (to charge), comfortable entertaining area in the wheel room (you can observe how our captain works), lots of space for your diving gear, new beddings in 5 cabins and much much more! We had a lot of fun doing the first, informal diving safari on Empress and brought our liveaborad from Australia to Indonesia. The trip was a perfect test for the vessel regarding its stamina and functionality. For the first passengers – our friends it was an unique opportunity to penetrate gorgeous reefs (some of them were absolutely virgin!). We fell in love with the elevator which lifted us after each dive on the boat with no effort. The second popular facility seames to be a sundeck which we have improvised with bean bags and mattresses. It was the best place to take a rest and admire fantastic landscapes. We were able also to plan our diving more effective thanks to electronic devices – that`s why some dive spots had no names, but only coordinates (it was really cool!). We would like to say „thank you!” all passengers for many miles and hours spend onboard and underwater. We are proud to announce that Scuba Froggy is the operator of liveaboard “MV Empress”. Since the spring of year 2016 we will organize diving trips, among others, to Flores and Komodo, Raja Ampat and the Java Sea. “MV Empress” is a unique boat with a rich history and success in the exploration wreck and technical diving. Equipped with, among others, a decompression chamber, compressors, blenders or pneumatic gas lift, allows us to organize diving trips for the most demanding divers (including technical diving, scuba sidemont, wreck diving, etc.). During EFR and Rescue Diver courses are required some practical works and participation in the scenarios. Therefore, to increase the satisfaction of our students of these courses, Scuba Froggy resources were “refreshed” with the new family of phantoms – “Little Ann Family”. Thanks to them, you will be able to practice the correct execution of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the phantom of an adult, a teenager and a baby.
