Let us introduce you… Kuta area
Little information remains and few have written about this region on the south coast of Lombok, and originally Kuta was a traditional fishing village. The trade of “sarung” (traditional loincloths) and cattle breeding (mainly buffalo) are still two sources of income for this relatively poor area.
In recent years has Kuta experienced a tourism boom, and also increased numbers due to the overpopulation of the island of Bali. This influx has become bigger and the recent opening of the new international airport near Praya plus increasingly common appearances on the web as a suitable area for surfing, kite surfing and scuba diving with its pristine and rich life.
Today Kuta remains a quiet and relaxing place with little traffic and tourism. With many sandy bays and coves worth postcards, showing a spectrum of beaches from black to pink and many more wonders to discover along this South coast.
Scuba Froggy has a dive center located inside the Novotel 4 Star resort in Kuta and new one in downtown.
